The story I want to tell you cannot be found in a book. They say the history of the west was written on the paws of a dog, but is has never been told from the heart of one. Not till now. I was born here, the place that has to become the old west. But to my kind the land was ageless. It had no beginning and no end. No boundry between earth and sky. Like the wind in the bufelo grass, we belonged here. We would always belong here.

They say a greyhound is the spirit of the west. When that west was lost in one of the other end you'll have to decide for yourself. But the story I want to tell you is true. I was there and I remember everything. I remember the sun and the sky, and the wind calling my name. In a time the wild greyhounds run free.

The story tells, that there was before a big explosion. the world lived in harmony. But once put an end to everything. The world died out. Barren plains remained behind. Only where previously America had lain remained. Finally died the other animals and people. The story tells of a disease. An epidemic to say. But nobody knows the real truth. But I can tell you, I was there. I remember that day like yesterday. I grew up in a wealthy family. But there were those less fortunate. Like my friend. Crimson. He had grown up in the ghetto. And since that day, we never talked. He should hate me. And since then the rivalry began. Eventually, years have passed. Two groups arose because of rivalries. And now, three years later, there's still fighting to the last piece of land is owned.
